What is the ISO forum?

The ISO forum is a place to list the items you are In Search Of (ISO). The ISO forum is for items you're looking for, not including money, PayPal (PP), or Revolution Money Exchange (RME).

What is the ISO thread that is stickied at the top of the forum used for?

You can use this sticky to post your list of items you are ISO. This sticky will be maintained by the moderators. A new sticky will be started every two weeks and the one for the previous week will be deleted in order to keep the forum up to date.

What if I only have one item I am in search of?

If you are In Desperate Search Of (IDSO) an item, or only have one item you need, start a new thread stating the specific item you are looking for. A very detailed subject line will help members navigate the threads so you can get what you need.

What do I do once I find my item(s)?

If you have started a thread for a specific item and you have found what you were ISO, please go back and edit the subject/title line in your post to indicate that you are no longer ISO. This way, the moderators can remove your post in order to keep the forum up to date.

If you have found items that were listed in the ISO sticky, just edit your post to delete them as you find them so that the thread remains current

Can I sell my FSOT item Auction style on DS?

No, we do not allow items to be sold auction style on DS. Even if it is carried out via pm. All items listed on FSOT must contain a set price. We allow Items to be listed with OBO ONLY if the best offer would be less than the original asking price

Do I have to put pictures in my FSOT post?

It is not a rule that you must include pictures in your FSOT post, but it is recommended. This adds a level of trust that you actually have the diapers and eliminates a lot of the guesswork on the condition of the diapers. Please try to list the most recent pictures as possible so that condition is current.

Do I have to have a minimum amount of posts to list on FSOT?

At the moment DS FSOT does not have a minimum post count to list on it. Although we do encourage people to post and get to know others a little before jumping into the FSOT scene it isn't a requirement. This is under review and could change at any moment to more strict requirements

What if I think someone is misrepresenting or charging too much for an item?

If you feel that someone has misrepresenting an item or charging to much. Do NOT post to the thread. You can send a friendly pm if you wish or report the post with an explanation for a Mod to evaluate if they need a pm. It is just bad ettiquette to post to someone's thread calling them out for pricing, etc.

What do all these letters mean? (FSOT, OBO, EUC, etc.)

Can I sell coupons or Formula checks on DS?

No, most coupons and formula checks state on them that they hold no cash value. They are given out for free...spread the love. These are only allowed to be given away FFS

Can you please explain the "no price inflation"?

This isn't something we are going to nail you for if you are accidentally listing a diaper for a few dollars over the cost. This is for Grossly overpriced items. The mods/admins don't have time to go through every single fsot post just like we don't have time to go through every chit chat post so, yes this will depend on our wonderful members helping us by reporting posts. We are not trying to tell anyone what they can buy/sell diapers for, we are just saying ON DS a community where it's supposed to be a bunch of moms and dads(can't forget them ;) ) Helping each other, we are no longer going to allow mamas to inflate prices ON DS.

This is more of a "ettiquette" thing instead of a hard fast rule. But, if you paid $20 for a diaper, please do not try to turn around and sell it on DS for $40. If Admin/Mods see the post you will recieve a pm and ask you to either lower your price or mark the post for deletion.

This will also cut down on the higher end scams with popular diapers where someone joins, goes straight to FSOT and lists 50 of them for 3 times their price, someone else joins and buys them all. Yes, there will be other high dollar things listed on FSOT and this isn't the complete answer to end high dollar scams and checking feedback is still VERY important.

If I have an issue with someone's FSOT post, can I tell them?

If you feel the need to tell someone that you have an issue with their FSOT post, it must be done through private messages or email. We do not allow people to post on threads about stuff like this so that sellers are having to defend themselves in their own post.

Can I cross post my FSOT items?

You can post a link to a thread in a post that has a full description of the items being sold, if you have it listed somewhere else on DS but all posts with only links will be removed.

How many times can I bump my FSOT post?

You may bump your FSOT post every 12 hours any more than that is not acceptable.

Can I search for people to buy my FSOT items in my ISO thread?

No, the ISO forum is for items you're looking for, not an advertisement for items you're selling.

What if I have a question on what price to ask for an item.

Pricing questions are discouraged, because it is hard to do without Spamming your item. But if you absolutely need help pricing your items it is only allowed in transaction and feedback and can't include any great details like a FSOT post would.
