Devastated, but continuing with you ladies...loss trigger
 

We found out our baby, Eden Marie, is a girl on July 3rd. That same day we found out our beautiful little girl has a birth defect called anencephaly. Sadly this means we are not going to get much time with her, if any, once she is born. We might be blessed with a few minutes, hours, or maybe even days with her once she is here, but she'll be leaving us much sooner than any of us would have liked. Her life is going to be cherished and celebrated, and we are going to give her every bit of love that she deserves - this child will know how loved she is, and we will never let her be forgotten, even when she goes to meet Jesus. We could really use prayers during the next 5 months, because it's going to be an extremely difficult time for us...but we are determined to celebrate the joy of this child's life, even if it is short.

I'm in awe of you mama. So much strength. Hugs and many prayers.

Hugs mama. That is so rough to hear. In Ina Mays spiritual midwifery there is a birth story I believe towards the back of the book of a newborn with I believe the same defect (or one similar) it was very touching and made me cry. Might be worth checking out. You are in my thoughts.

I am so sorry that Eden is not going to get to stay. I am sending you so much love. I admire your strength. I am so, so sorry that you have to suffer this tragic loss.

:hugs: We are praying for you and your family! Just know that you are doing the right thing in this situation, even when it is hard. I can not imagine what you are going through.
