Cost break down of any system for less than $400, including organic options
All I heard when pregnant was that cloth diapering was supposed to cost less than $400. But when I asked about options, people always recommended things like Thirsties and BumGenius, which cost more than that before you even get to the accessories. It frustrated me to no end. Then people said, "Well if that's your budget, all you can really do is flats or prefolds." NOT TRUE. You might be limited when it comes to brand options, but you shouldn't be limited when it comes to system types. Without further ado, here is a breakdown of how to buy any system for less than $400, with all accessories you need. For options that included more than one store to buy from, I chose places you could get free shipping, with the exception of Alva. I am uncertain how to go about getting their free shipping, as it is contradictory on their site. It is still small enough in price to fall well below budget though. I have used the pail liners selected specifically because they can be used without a diaper pail if need be. This was put together for the idea of people trying to get each system for as cheaply as possible while still buying new. I realize not everyone likes the idea of diapers that are made abroad, but this concept was realized for low income people. At most, it would require a family to put away less than $14.00 a week for 30 weeks out of their pregnancy. If people have other examples that fall in the less than $400.00 for EVERYTHING budget, please feel free to add them. Please make sure it includes a minimum of 20 diapers, 6 covers, 2 pail liners, 1 wet bag, and 20 wipes. I'm not including sale prices; please do the same.

Well done, time well spent and hopefully a blessing to overwhelmed mamas or those just wanting nice still but simple. Like that you came up with a package that can still include Newborn size so baby is not swallowed by the diaper. Kind of nice those first weeks to enjoy itty bittys on your itty bitty baby.

This is impressive - and I don't know why it never occurred to me that you could swagbucks/whatever an entire stash! If you did enough swagbucks, you could get some pretty awesome diapers during pregnancy. Well I think I know what I'm doing next pregnancy!
