Pay Pal Fees

It's been a loooong time since I sold on here, but when I did in the past (a couple of years ago), I was never charged a fee. I just sold something and was paid via PP and was charged this time. Is this new, or am I doing something wrong?

Any money sent to you as goods (which it should be if you are selling on DS) will have fees taken out by paypal. The only time you don't get charged fees is if someone sends you money as a personal payment, but personal payments are not allowed as payments for goods here on DS.

So it's been that way all along and I just never noticed before? CRAZY. How could I have missed it. I sold quite a bit a while ago.

and you arent allowed to ask buyer to pay fees except for ffs. your best bet is to figure out what the fees are and add it to your asking price

it's 2.9% + .31. So it's never a LOT, but it adds up, especially if you're not prepared
