need a good crock pot chicken recipe
 

We have some chicken in the freezer and I'd like to make it tomorrow. I'd prefer something easy and light on ingredients. I thought about some sort of chicken stew but I have no idea where to begin.

Please spam me with ideas!

You can add a can of cream of chicken or mushroom a little salt and pepper and pour it over rice or mashed potatoes when it's done :)

Hmm, that might be an idea. How long should I let it cook?

I really like the rice idea. Could I add some corn to the crock pot while the chicken cooks, or would that make them super squishy?

4-6 chicken breast
1 16oz jar salsa
1 packet taco seasoning
1 8oz brick cream cheese

Cook on high 4-6 hours, shred chicken. Ta Da...chicken tacos. Leftovers make excellent tortilla soup!

Chicken
Canned Black beans
Canned Corn or hominy
Whole jar of Salsa
Salt and pepper to taste

Serve in tortillas or over rice. It's versatile and I often add canned chopped chilies, a diced onion. It's delicious.

One whole chicken
1 bottle BBQ sauce
1/2 cup water

Put bird in crock, dump BBQ sauce and water on top, cook on low 6-8 hours.

Can of chicken broth
Can of corn
Can of black beans
Can of tomatoes and diced green chiles
Chicken Breasts
Add cilantro and green onions (optional, but I think it makes it taste really good)
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp onion powder

Cook all together on low for 8 hours. Take chicken out and shred and add back to crock pot. Serve over rice or with tortillas. It's SO good.

I add frozen corn or peas to my crock pot meals all the time and they come out fine :) If you start out with canned on the other hand, that may turn out differently, but frozen works well :)
