Looking for ways to keep ds out of bedrooms
My 6 yo ds is autistic. He's a pretty great kid but he has little respect for ods's things and I'm sure it will be the same for dsd. He can dismantle magic doorknobs in record time. I was thinking of even a keypad but I've only found deadbolts. He's the youngest but he's taller than both of the 8 yo's

hook and eye locks up at adult level. or chain locks

You can get door alarms at Dollar Tree... If he is auditory sensitive it might be just the ticket. Open door = loud, piercing alarm.

Turn the knob around and lock it and have your other son keep the key? We do this to keep my 2.5 year olds out of my room and the upstairs bathroom, but we keep the key above the door.
