I *think* I have a knock off ergo :(. I purchased this about 2 yrs ago off eBay. I've never had issues with it but decided tonight to list it for sale. I came across online how to spot a fake ergo when lookin up prices. This looks like the same picture. I've never had issues with this carrier. It bums me to know I paid so much for this. It does have one spot where the thread is loose inside. I'm not sure if its something that can be stitched? Other than that no issues with this carrier. I'm only asking $25ppd now since I'm convinced its a fake.

Hey momma inside the front pocket u put the hood in is there a tag with a model # & do u have a pic of the waist bucle unbuckled! I went through this awhile go now i am great at spotting a fake lol!!

Judging by the color of the stitching on the outside, it probably is a fake... The stitching on this one's front looks white ish... Not the correct thread color :)
