Thermos suggestions?
DS refuses..as in he won't even go thru the lunch line at school. The food is not appealing and quite honestly I don't blame him for not wanting to eat it. He carries his lunch sometimes, but other times just snacks on granola/fruit bars etc. I want him to have something warm in his tummy (it is -30 degrees here, no joke). He likes soups but they do not have a microwave or stove at school where it can be warmed so that leaves us needed to purchase a thermos. Does anyone have a suggestion for a good one that isn't going to break the bank? He leaves for school at 7:45 and doesnt' have lunch until 12:15.

Re: Thermos suggestions?
Wal-mart had one for $15. It looks like the stanley ones but smaller. It holds 16 oz. It does a great job of keeping the food hot until lunch time. Our local Wal-mart doesn't seem to have them anymore but perhaps online. Ours does have a smaller one that appears to hold about 12 oz.

The first one is the one we have. My husband has used it for work. He says the food is so hot he has to cool it down before eating. We have tried cheaper ones but they didn't work. I was concerned about food poisoning because the food was never ho only warm come meal time. http://www.walmart.com/msharbor/sear...81640&veh=mweb The non mobile link. |
