Pumps that use vacuum and massage
Are there still any out there? I really wonder if I wouldn't do better pumping if I had a pump that mimicked the movement of the babies mouth..... there used to be the whittlestone expresser, but I haven't see or heard about that one in ages....

I agree with you! I hate pumping with mine, and I barely ever get anything. If you find anything that works please let me know :)
Sorry I didn't actually have an answer! |
Re: Pumps that use vacuum and massage
I know...there has to be something better. I have three pumps and none of them come close to feeling the same way nursing does.

I just saw the Dr. Brown's Pump has a sort of message motion, but there seems to be shotty reviews about the suction.

Re: Pumps that use vacuum and massage
The one I have the best luck with is the medela. I pumped with all of my kids (my newest one is 3 weeks old, I have 4 total) You may want to try that. With all my other kids I could only get 2 ounces each time I pumped. With this one I pumped 8 ounces and then an hour later I pumped another 8.

The best "massage" flanges I found were the Playtex ones.
