Candy without artificial dye
My son and daughter are sensitive to artificial dyes. But of course, they still like candy. :giggle: They usually have to have chocolate if they get candy. They want "fun" candy sometimes too. So, it suddenly hit me that someone must make hard candy without dyes. I've seen a few online after looking around. I don't know what is good though.
Any recommendations? Thanks! |
Re: Candy without artificial dye
My dh makes candy from honey. It's kind of labor intensive. I can ask his recipe when he gets home from work if you want it.

I run a co-op on DS for Frontier Wholesale, and they sell a line called Yummy Earth. They sell gummy bears, gummy worms, sour worms and lollipops. Probably other things. You can likely get Yummy Earth wherever you would purchase natural foods as well.

Surf Sweets is another commonly available brand that is free of artificial dyes. They make gummies, sour gummies, jelly beans, etc.
