100% whole wheat bread
 

Where do you get it? We are cutting out white flour, msg, preservatives and artificial flavorings. Finding bread that is legit whole wheat! I never thought bread would have such random and unnatural things in them...

Are you up for making it? I make a 100% whole wheat bread, and I just love it! If you click on my blog (below) then click on Reader Favorites, it's the 2nd one listed on there. I have made it dozens of times and it is fabulous! It's based on this recipe from King Arthur Flour.

I also make that recipe from King Arthur flour. It makes a nice sandwich loaf, the kids love it, and it's easy to mix up with my stand mixer :)

I use the recipe on the back of the Bob's Red Mill whole wheat flour package. It is the only whole wheat recipe I have that doesn't also require the use of white bread flour.

I also think that homemade white bread is sometimes better then store bought wheat bread with weird ingredients.

I'll definitely check out making my own. I don't get why there isn't an easy to find store bought. Makes me sad.

The ones that are recommended in books I have read are either impossible for me to find, or they are way out of my budget for bread.

OP, where do you live? Here in the NW, we have Dave's Killer Bread that is amazing, but I think its just regional.
