Rejected!

Quote:

The IRS has rejected your federal return. This means that your return has not been filed.

Here's the reason for the rejection:

Field/Xpath: /efile:Return/efile:ReturnHeader/efile:Filer[1]/efile:PrimarySSN
Issue : Business Rule F1040-525 - If Form 1040, Line 2 checkbox "Married
filing jointly" is checked, and 'Primary Date Of Death' does not have a value, then
'Primary Date Of Birth' in the Return Header must match the e-File database.
I keep meaning to have DH get his birthday updated with the SSA, but I forget all about it until tax time. We were paper filers for years and years and the error in his birth date came up last year when we tried to e-file for the first time.

youmight have to do a bit more leg work as I gave the accounting firm correct number but they put in wrong. it took a bit more time to get with my oldest kid or maybe it was with my seconds child......

Re: Rejected!

I have tried to fix my birth date 4 times with the SSA and every time it comes back as an invalid date. Ummm ok my parents were there I am pretty sure they would know but it won't correct it to the right date. After years or this the IRS told me to put the date they have down as correct. So every year I have to use my incorrect "correct" birthday or it gets rejected.
