Petition for Kraft to stop using artificial dyes in their US Mac and Cheese

Whether or not you eat Kraft Mac and Cheese I believe that we need to tell food manufacturers that it is NOT OK to use dangerous additives in our food that has been banned in other countries so please take a moment to sign this petition. Hopefully we can make this change happen and it will be one small step back in the right direction for american food.

I know, it's boxed Mac n Cheese! I did say SMALL step. even though I know a lot of people here don't eat "crap like this" there are still parents everywhere feeding this to their children so sign it for them!

Signed. You are correct baby steps and even though we don't eat this (often) it still is at every meal for some kids. Great petition.

Signed. So tired of food here in the US containing things banned in other countries. Seems we are the food industry's dumping ground.

Here's a follow up post on the petition:

http://shine.yahoo.com/healthy-livin...184536039.html

Please sign and share the petition! This is sooo much bigger than Kraft Mac and Cheese! It's about putting our foot down as American consumers and demanding that our food be SAFE! Those of us who are aware of how unreliable the FDA is and how unhealthy and dangerous most processed/packaged food is have a responsibility to spread awareness!

I completely agree and that's why I feel that this petition is so important. We need to speak up or things will never change. Personally I stopped purchasing Kraft Mac and Cheese years ago, but avoiding all Kraft (or sister company) products is nearly impossible if you buy anything that is packaged. I think the FDA should be FIRED!!!
Thanks for signing!

I vote through my wallet but I know it isn't possible for everyone.

It blows my mind that they can't add a little turmeric or paprika or whatever.

They CAN and they DO... in other countries. It's our responsibility to vote with more than just our wallet though bc this isn't only about Kraft this is about 90% of the food sold at grocery stores.

Signed. This is another reason I don't usually buy packaged foods. Yuck! Although once a year when we go camping around Halloween, I do let the kids have some packaged foods and ds1 always picks Kraft Mac and cheese.
