My son's pediatrician informed us that he has an abnormal hemoglobin, type "J". She recommends seeing a specialist to know which specific variant of the type J he has...most have no clinicial significance, but a few can have problems related to anemia...anyone have experience/knowledge of this Hb J? It's so rare not much is known about it!
