Where to buy a good doppler that picks up right away?

Hi, I bought a high end doppler years ago on ebay, and while it works have not been impressed that it still takes me a while to pick up baby and I do not want to use it that long at one time. I am tiny so it should pick up right away and it does not.

When I use to doctor, they would find it instantly.

So I want a good one, without an insane price and still approved, so it does not have some crazy frequencies that are not approved.

Thanks kindly.

We used the sonolineB from amazon. Was about $70 at the time (3 yrs ago).

I think it's normal to take awhile to find the hb as opposed to a dr's unit. Any Doppler should be used sparingly.

It took my doctor the same amount of time as it did me. She has an expensive one and I have a Sonoline B.

I can find the babies faster than the midwife can (b/c I know where they are)...hers is medical grade, ours is a Sonoline. If you're looking for something more clinical than the Sonoline, you might consider renting a medical-grade machine.

Maybe I will try a sonoline, actually mine was suppose to be a medical grade and like I said not so good. It actually was a European plus style, with adaptor.

So on ebay you can get them, some shipped from the states, and some shipped right from China, same unit, so should be the same, correct, since that is where it is coming from anyway.

I had the Sonoline B with our last baby and it didn't work as well as the cheaper Jumper/Angelsounds doppler I got off Amazon for this pregnancy lol.

Here's the link for it: http://www.amazon.com/Jumper-Prenata...+fetal+doppler

I was really skeptical about getting it but I had an anterior placenta this time and needed it for the peace of mind but didn't have a lot of money to spare! It's worked wonderfully!
