Core Curriculum

What is your opinion on them? I've never used them, but we have a store that sells it. But I have heard some negative things about it

Re: Core Curriculum

If you are talking about the curriculum that public schools use, I would stay away from it. What I understand is that it will set your kids up to fail. I'm not against challenging kids, but the system is flawed and it's got 3rd graders trying to do 5th grade work. I'm also not against public schools, but again, the whole premise behind the core curriculum is corrupt.
Now, if you are talking about a curriculum I haven't heard of, which is quite possible, then disregard this reply.

Core Curriculum (what public schools are being forced to use) is a really poor system. I would avoid it. :( I was a teacher and all my teacher friends shudder when they try and describe the horror to me. :(
