Re: How to season cast iron?
just wanted to mention that I always season cast iron using the grill outside. It gets very hot, doesn't make a mess in your oven, and keeps the smell outside. I use crisco to season. Then as pp have mentioned use oil when you cook. Like a skillet I use to bake pineapple upside down cakes in is non stick now
