Re: Bike Help
My daughter took a LOT longer to be able to ride a bike than my son. She wore AFOs til she was 3, but it was a coordination issue more than a physical one. She didn't really start being coordinated enough on a traditional bike to go very fast til she was 5, and at almost 6 is nowhere near ready for training wheels. If she hits a bump, it completely messes her up. My neighbor swears that it takes girls longer to ride a bike than boys. I believe it.
She did better on this trike than on the real two wheeled one. It is easier to pedal. I found it on Craigslist (minus the handle), and the angle that the pedals is at was easier for her. The seat is adjustable, so we just adjusted it all the way back.
