I would say, even on the smallest setting, these probably would not start fitting an infant until at least six weeks? Even though they say 8-36 lbs. I have not tried Kawaiis on a newborn yet, and from what I hear (most brands) one-size diapers don't fit newborns right away. I used prefolds and NB Bummis covers at first.
