We skipped the toddler bed and went right to a twin bed. I am so glad we did because it made it easy for me to cuddle with my DS in his new bed when we were transitioning him. Plus, I was pregnant with my DD so a lot of the time when I was reading to him before his nap I would totally pass out in his bed and he would fall asleep next to me... I miss those days!
