Re: swimming lessons private vs group?
My oldest is 6 and has done 2 years of group lessons. I would opt for private lessons over the group if you had the chance. Even with group they change teachers fairly often and they don't learn nearly as fast. We do group lessons because it is the only organsed "PE" offered at their school.
