Yes, and beware, the play could last a full three hours. Lol! This was my absolute favorite thing to do as a child. I was lucky enough to have several neighbor kids and siblings willing to join in the fun. I was always the "director" sometimes we would do straight plays, other times a musical, sometimes musical reviews, and one time a ballet. Funny thing is I am now a youth theatre director and dance teacher. I directed my first "real" show when I was 15 and haven't stopped since! Follow you'd children's interests. Kids generally know what they like and are good at.
