I filled out my return form yesterday, got a response today along with the tracking number for my 3 replacement flats. And, it doesn't look like I'll have to send the 3 fraying ones back. One frayed after a couple washings. I think the others were washed 3-5 times and then frayed. I'm keeping an eye on my 3 that have held up so far.
