Miralax is magic. It is non-stimulant. It works differently than many others, which is why they use it in very young children. It just brings water to the colon so the body can do what it is supposed to do naturally. I would do that before Karo syrup any day. Mayo Clinic is extremely against it. It also carries a risk of botulism, just like you don't give honey to babies.

Miralax got rid of DS's blockage, which helped us avoid surgery. It doesn't take much, and it doesn't stay in the system long.
