Re: Leotard question, underwear or no?
Leotards for older gymnasts are usually lined in the crotch area, so underwear is not needed, like a swimsuit. But I know a lot of us used to wear a full flesh-coloured bodysuit (which is really designed for ballet dancers) underneath. That would prevent any seams showing underneath the leotard.
