Orally, not vaginally. There is some concern that it may slow blood clotting. Without an underlying bleeding disorder, I would personally be comfortable taking it both "up" and "down". http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/d...ural/1006.html
On the other hand, as PP have kind of indicated, either we trust our bodies or we don't.
