I had this problem too. I kept pumping extra on my left to try to keep the supply going. Eventually dd gave up nursing on my left side around 6 or 7 months. I've been lopsided ever since, but there's never been an issue with dd getting enough to nurse. To balance things out, I slip a chicken cutlet bra insert in my bra if I'm wearing something form fitting.
