We recently got a Vitamix and love it. It makes the best smoothies!
We normally use....a few different fruits (frozen blueberries, frozen strawberries, fresh banana, raspberries, pear, apple) and some kale or spinach, sometimes a small handful of carrots, with some regular milk or coconut milk. If none of the fruit is frozen then I sometimes add a handful of ice to thicken it.
