My Mood:
Update!!!! Best way to get rid of the binky?

Update - Last night he went to sleep in his crib after my husband rubbed his head for about 5 minutes. He only woke up once at 5:30 and went back to sleep!!!! He had been so tired since he cried his naptime away yesterday.

Then today - he went right to sleep in about 5 minutes in his toddler bed! Never even asked for a binky!

Thank you for all the encouragement and support yesterday! Sometimes these kinds of things are as hard on mom as they are on the little one!

My son will be 3 next month and it's way past time to give it up. We've tried to only let him have it at nap or bedtime but he's way attached to it! We got our girls to give them up by 2 years old so this has lasted a lot longer!

He has two left. Is the best way to just cut a tiny hole in it? Or just tell him he is done? I just don't know.

Not sure he will understand or do well with a big "to do" like a party or something. Pretty sure he'd just enjoy the party and then cry for them at bed time.
