DS keeps saying his heart is "full"

DS is 4 and recently started noticing his heart when it beat fast. Or at least that's what it seems like, it's always after he has been running around or riding his bike. I just wonder if this is normal, like he's just becoming more aware of his body. He went on a bike ride last night and came inside, and looked a little tired. I asked him what was wrong and he said, "Nothing, but my heart just got too full." It was just kind of weird and makes me a little nervous...is there something wrong or do you think this is normal?

Re: DS keeps saying his heart is "full"

I was VERY overly sensitive about my heartrate up untill my late 20s. I hated the way it felt after any type of activity, especially high impact stuff that made it race. He could have this sensitivity. I would not even take my own pulse till I went to nursing school. I hated to feel it beat and would get nauseous.
