Ham Bones/Hocks

What do you make with ham bones/ and or hocks? I usually just throw them in a pot of greens. Tonight I have some in a crockpot full of water and im planning on making soup. Any other ideas? We love their smokey flavor and would like to do more with them.

I make navy bean soup or green bean soup. Oh how about baked beans?
