Re: Good devotional for younger kids??
haven't used this one myself, but my friend has it and really likes it. I looked through it, and it does look great. there are little activities to go w/each day, like an object lesson to illustrate the teaching. there are ones for different ages and one for girls too, but the boy one looked like it would be fine to use w/my daughter as well.

Re: Good devotional for younger kids??
I love the series Discover4 Yourself by Kay Arthur. It would work for your 5,7 yr old well. It's a series so probably 20-22 books all together but each one is a subject so you can do one at a time. I got some on eBay for less than $5 each and some on CBD for $6-8 ish.
For younger kids we just read OT stories and because my girls are deaf we do videos by Deaf Missions like Dr Wonder's Workshop lol but I doubt that would apply to y'all lol

We have a couple but the kids really like this one. Each story is based on a different animal. |

Re: Good devotional for younger kids??
Last year doing preschool with my daughter I used 100 Bible Stories 100 Bible Songs (it's nice having a song to go along with each story). I also tried to pick a craft to go along with the week, often pinning them on my biblical crafts Pinterest board.
The kids still like to pull that book out, but this year I happen to have a couple books that were gifted to me: The Young Learner's Bible Storybook and Step into the Bible - 100 Bible Stories for Family Devotions. Sometimes I pick a story for the week, other times I just let the kids pick something that interests them or capitalize on a lesson they may have learned in Sunday School. The kids memorize AWANA verses, and the Bible stories have verses/prayers to go along with each one, but we're also doing alphabet verses.

Re: Good devotional for younger kids??
Your younger ones will like "The Bible in Pictures for Little Eyes." Each page has a nice picture with a paragraph delivering a bible story. Then it asks three or four comprehension questions. My little guys love it! I usually read the same bible story from a more advanced bible, then read the kid version. We then tell Daddy at the dinner table abou the bible story we learned that day. They don't forget!

We are doing Jesus Calling. It's daily. It contacts o a topic, a bible verse, and a short reading. Then gives a verse to read on your own...
