Fix shot elastic before selling or sell as is?
I could fix the elastic if I needed to. Long story short, we had some health stuff go down this past year and never got on the CD bandwagon with our 2nd and we figure we will just sell our stash. The diapers I had for DS1 have shot elastic. It's a shame because a lot of them are like new Goodmamas.
I was so sad. (And a ton of BGs too, boo!). Is it going to be worth it to fix them (obviously a big time investment as there are probably over a dozen BGs at least!) or should I just sell them shot? What are the going rate for shot diapers? (The Goodmamas are in great shape otherwise with no staining) and the BGs are 4.0s I believe. Can anyone give me a shot vs used but good elastic guess? Any help would be great, it's been awhile since I've had to buy any, so I'm kind of out of the loop!

Re: Fix shot elastic before selling or sell as is?
I think you'll get much more for them if you replace the elastics before selling. Most mamas don't have the supplies to replace them themselves.

I would sell as is, I don't find people trusting of repaired diapers anyway, so I don't think you'll get a big return either way. What a bummer!
I hope everyone's health is improving!

I also don't think the time you spend replacing elastics and the cost to get the supplies will add up to being what a buyer SHOULD pay for those things being done for them. I would just sell as is and if you happen to have the supplies, add that in as an extra "fee" so they can have it all come together.
It really stinks.

Re: Fix shot elastic before selling or sell as is?
Thanks ladies! I was thinking the time vs the energy wouldn't really be worth it, especially since we are trying to fix up the house to sell...I don't have supplies on hand so yeah, it would definitely be a cost to me to get them.
Anyone know how much a shot gm would go for? I going to search now, but figured I'd ask here too!
