What does your midwife charge?
I'm sure there is a wide range of normal, I'm just curious how much it runs where you are.

Re: What does your midwife charge?
$3000 + extra for whatever bloodwork you want to have done (she doesn't require it). But she is very open to bartering & just giving discounts, in general, which is AWESOME!

Re: What does your midwife charge?
$5900. I am in AZ. That's what she charges the insurance and I have to pay a percentage. Not sure if she's got a lower cash-rate though.

i used different local midwives for my last birth but the price was comparable and my ins. reimbursed us 75% after the fact. i dont think our new ins. is going to be as good about it.

My labors are like a blip all 4 combined was about 6.5 hours! But I've witnessed them in all their glory with my friend so I can honestly say you will be well taken care of!
