Ring sling advice

I have a Maya ring sling but I have such a hard time with it. My son is 5 months old and about 18 lbs. are there any good YouTube videos that I should watch or does anyone have any advice as far as how to actually use the sling with him?

i would just browse how to use a ring sling on youtube. they are almost all the same. when my son was that age i found our usual tummy to tummy position to really wear on my back. if he has good neck strengh you could try the hip carry. i usually prefer to have my lo pressed tight against me with one arm out. that way he doesnt wiggle and i can rest assured knowing he wont hit his head on the wall or something. after the newborn stage the maya for me was and still is only good for short periods of time when you arnt bending alot.

the tasks i found best to do where
vaccume
throw laundry in the wash
out away dishes
groom myself etc.

Thank you! I've gotten it figured out I think I found some good youtube videos and my son was finally in a good enough mood yesterday for us to practice using the sling around the house some- he usually isn't so patient with me LOL.
