Fiber mixes for woolies
What can be mixed with the wool? Angora, cashmere, alpaca, llama, mohair? What about tiny percentages (<5%) of synthetics? Do they make the wool not do its job? I'm looking at yarn, as well as sweaters for upcycling.

Re: Fiber mixes for woolies
I think any animal fiber is fine as they all absorb. Mohair is kind of scratchy. My DS rejected the first pair of longies I made because of that. I think a bit of synthetic wouldn't affect function. I know I've made all acrylic longies for people who use sposies or pockets and want to machine wash.
