Andy has been really into trains especially Thomas the train, and we found a event in October, that is called a day out with Thomas, 25 minute train ride with thomas, and a bunch of other things. Its about 3 hours away, and from previous years it looks like tickets are around 25 dollars for adults and 15 for kids. I think he will love that. We are going to have friends and family over for a small get together one weekend for his birthday in June, but I think he would love this even if its late!

We did this when my DS was 3 and he LOVED it!!!! There was a place to get pics with Sir Topham Hat. The train really looked like Thomas. The also had a tent full of train tables and it was fun, I wish DS was still young enough to go again.

Thats great to know! How much if you remember did you spend total? My son will be three in june.

We went all out. We did the Thomas train ride and a regular ride. The tent was free and so was the chance to take pictures did it with my camera. I was 4 years ago too, so I think around $60 for 4.

We also packed a picnic lunch! One other thing let him take a Thomas train with him my DS was so excited to show Thomas to Thomas. I have pictures of the introduction

It's a FUN day. We've been three times - twice to Squamish, BC and once to somewhere near Seattle, Wa. The train ride is super cute. You can also take pictures with Thomas and meet Hattie

They have trains to play with, colouring etc. You get a map and when you visit each station they give you a sticker. At the end you turn your map in for a prize. (This year it was a poster) They have a large tent with LOTS of things to buy all Thomas. Food has been fairly reasonable, toys are about what you would pay elsewhere. There are lots of free things to do with admission. We've enjoyed it each time we've gone.

We did it and the kids LOVED it. Loved it!!! My kids were almost 2, 4 (he was the Thomas buff at that point) and 6. It was such a fun day and they still talk about it. Well worth it, mama!!

We did that when they were one and two and they were to little. Going to go this year at 3 and 4 should be a blast! I second packing lunch!
