Are the Kawaii diaper like any other brands?? Is it a knock off of another brand?

Nope, they are their own brand. They are a pocket so they bear some similarity to other pocket brands, though.

I always thought the heavy duty PUL with velcro looked quite a bit like Bumgenius. Also the ultra soft look like FuzziBunz Perfect Size(but the Kawaii are onesize wirh a snap down rise, the PS are sized obviously) also the round tabs with snap Kawaii look a bit like Thirsties. Just my thoughts though. I'm sure others don't see it.

I have one, it is bumgenius like, BG has "ore staydry" suedecloth in my opinion and I prefer the lower pocket placement in BG. But the Kawaii is okay if you like pockets.

There are similarities to others but, they fit and look different for us! I prefer kawaii over the higher end pockets we have had.
