Higher Hormone Levels with Each Pregnancy

I just started a medication to blocks some of the stress hormones from my heart - the same as the last pregnancy but this time that amount does not seem to be enough I do not want to increase it since the medication should not even be taken during pregnancy.

I thought someone once told me that with your second, or third, ect... pregnancy you have higher hormones - is this true? Or is it just differant for each one? I had a girl first this one is also a girl but she has made me soooo sick compaired to my first - I still get nausa at 20 weeks!

Re: Higher Hormone Levels with Each Pregnancy

In my case it isn't true.

Here are my first beta test results from all of my pregnancies:
Triplets - 12 days past the IUI (so this was done quite early compared to the other betas) - 186
Baby D - 14 days past a 3 day transfer (Baby E is from this cycle) - 434
Baby F (also known as Max) - 14 days past 5 day transfer - 1014
Baby H (this last July) 10 days past 5 day frozen transfer - 60

Baby E - 14 days past 6 day frozen transfer - 803!!

The baby I am currently pregnant with is Baby E. Yeah IVF gives some interesting family dynamics as my current son is actually younger then the son inside me.

I have no idea scientifically, and I know it varies for each woman and each pregnancy.

But we are pregnant with our second boy (definitely a boy) ad I have been super sick and weak this time around vs basically nothing the first time.
