How many diapers per day- newborn- 4 months?

How many diapers (on average) do little ones go through for the first 4 months or so?

20 or more a day. But he was extremely sensitive and would scream like bloody hell until we changed him. I think my husband had the record of seven changes in one hour. And it didn't matter if it was cloth or disposable. It improved when we completely switched to cloth at about 3 weeks or a little later. I do about 12 changes a day at three months.

It's been a long time, but I remember in the little itty bitty stage that 12 was a really low day at 24 was a high day. 18 seemed to the average.

15 or so for my nb's. They are heavy wetters so we change at night and one of them poops tiny bits all day so she gets a lot of changes for a tiny bit of poop but still dry.
