Wink What's your fav. crock pot recipe?

Maybe we'd make a sticky if we get enough recipes together?
I really love my crock pot and want to use it much more often, especially now that the cold(er) times have come.

So, what are your favorite crock pot recipes? Please share with me/us!

One of the most made meals I've made in the crock pot is
Broccoli Chicken

3-4 chicken breasts
1-2 small cans of cream of broccoli (I use fat free)
Fresh broccoli

Place the chicken breasts in the crock pot, pour the cream of broccoli on top, if too thick, thin it w/some milk and cook on high for 4 hrs. After that add the broccoli florets on top of everything for another 15-20 mins (depending on how hard/soft you like your broccoli) and it's done.

Serve over rice, super yummy and quick.

Re: What's your fav. crock pot recipe?

I just have the lazy mom's beef stew recipe.

I buy the package of beef stew mix from the store and use that for seasoning.

about 1.5 of beef stew meat-already cut up from store
half bag of baby carrots
peel and cube about 6 potatoes
slice 1 yellow onion

I like a stalk of celery in mine but DH does't, so I don't make it that way anymore.

I just mix up the seasoning mix with about a cup of water and pour it over everything. Then I let it cook on low all day while I'm at work.

Serve with rolls and I love to put Texas Pete hot sauce in mine. I just do that when I eat it since I make it too hot for DD!

1 carrot sliced
parsley
4 c water
2 chicken bouillon cubes
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 T butter
1 13oz can evaporated milk
1 cup velveeta cubed
1 ham steak cubed

Combine everything except evaporated milk, velveeta, and ham. Cook low 8-10 hours, high 3-4. During last 30 minutes add remaining ingredients to heat through.

Savory Stew

1-2 lbs round steak cubed
6 carrots sliced
1 onion cubed
3 cups hot water
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp worecstershire sauce
1-8 tsp garlic powder
2 bay leaves
3 large potatoes cubed
3 beef bouillon cubes
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp paprika
1/8 tsp ground allspice or cloves
1 tsp sugar

Place beef, carrots, potatoes and onions in crock pot. Add water lemon juice, worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, bay leaves, bouillon cubes, pepper, paprika, ground spice and sugar. Cook on low 8-10 hours

3T flour and 1/2 cup cold water
Combine flour and water and stir to form a smooth paste. Turn temp up on crock and slowly stir mix into broth. Cook 15 more minutes or until slightly thickened.

Scalloped Potatoes and Ham

1/2 tsp cream of tartar
1 cup water
8-10 potatoes sliced thin
1 ham steak cubed
2 onions sliced thin
salt and pepper to taste
1 cupe shredded cheddar
1 can cream of mushroom
paprika

Lightly toss potatoes in mix of cream of tartar and the 1 cup water. Drain. Put half of ham, potatoes, onions, soup, and cheese in cooker. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add remaining ingredients following same above. Sprinkle top with paprika. Low 8-10 hours, high 2-3 hours or until potatoes are tender.

Meatballs

(I just toss this stuff together and never measure...)
1lb hamburger
garlic minced
onion powder
1 egg
crushed cracker
2 cans cream of mush sou
1 pint sour cream

Mix hamburger with garlic, onion powder, egg and cracker. Make into meatballs. Cook in skillet till just browned. Add to crock pot and add soup and sour cream mix. Heat through.

Taco soup

2 pounds ground beef
2 cups diced onions
2 (15 1/2-ounce) cans pinto beans
1 (15 1/2-ounce) can pink kidney beans
1 (15 1/4-ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained
1 (14 1/2-ounce) can Rotel
1 28 oz can crushed tomatoes or tomato sauce (crushed tomato makes it thicker)
1 (4 1/2-ounce) can diced green chiles
1 (4.6-ounce) can black olives, drained and sliced, optional
1 (1 1/4-ounce) package taco seasoning mix
1 (1-ounce) package ranch salad dressing mix
Corn chips, for serving
Sour cream, for garnish
Grated cheese, for garnish
Chopped green onions, for garnish
Pickled jalapenos, for garnish
Brown the ground beef and onions in a large skillet; drain the excess fat, then transfer the browned beef and onions to a large slow cooker or a stockpot. Add the beans, corn, tomatoes, green chiles, black olives, green olives, taco seasoning, and ranch dressing mix, and cook in a slow cooker on low for 6 to 8 hours or simmer over low heat for about 1 hour in a pot on the stove. To serve, place a few corn chips in each bowl and ladle soup over them. Top with sour cream, cheese, green onions and jalapenos.

Fiery chile beef
1 flank steak or similar type steak (I use round steak) 1-2 lbs
1 can diced tomato undrained
1 can pinto beans
1 onion chopped
minced garlic
salt
1/2 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 canned chipotle chile in adobo sauce
1 tsp adobo sauce from canned chili

Cut steak into a few pieces. Add all ingredients. Cook on low 7-8 hours.

Braciola

(this recipe calls for rolling ingredients in the meat like a meat roll. I'm too lazy for that so I just throw it all in a pot and it's still yummy!)
1 28 oz can tomato sauce
2 1/2 tsp dried oregano
1 1/2 tsp dried basil
salt
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/4 parm cheese grated
minced garlic
1 T parsley
2lb round steak or flank steak cubed or leave whole and shred it after cooking

Add all ingredients to crock pot. Cook on low 6-8 hours.

Italian style pot roast

minced garlic
salt
1tsp dried basil
1 tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp red pepper flake
2-3 lb beef roast
1 onion sliced thin
1 1/2 cups prepared spaghetti sauce or marinara
2 cane cannellini or northern beans
1/4 cup fresh basil or parsley

Combine garlic salt, basil, oregano, and pepper flakes. Rub over roast. Place1/2 onion slices into cooker. Place roast over onion, then add rest of onion. Pour spaghetti sauce over roast and cook on low 8-10 hours. Take roast out of cooker and add beans to heat through. Garnish with parsley or basil.
