Soy constipated my DS also. When I switched from EBFing to soy formula I was SHOCKED! I could literally roll his little poopie in to the toilet with nothing but a smudge left on his diaper. LOL But once he started having solids and table foods that changed and I needed a diaper sprayer.
Glad you got some good info!! Lactaid is also cheaper at Costco/Sam's if you have that (and a membership) nearby. It can get pricey at the grocery store.

lactaid also comes in pills or powder which you can put into the drink. it's basically the enzyme that breaks down the lactose sugar.
in the already prepared lactaid milk, it's been added. it might take a few tries but you could figure out how much of the powder to put into her drink so it doesn't cause her any problems
