School Supplies

I was at the office supply store tonight with my kids and noticed that they had the school supply list for my son's school. Great! I thought I'd pick it up and see what would need to get for him before kindergarten starts.

First, I read the top of the page which informed me that Costco was donating backpacks for ALL kids at the school this year.

Then I continued to read and found that the school was supplying everything for grades kindergarten through third grade.

Seriously? I do not have to buy any school supplies? None? My daughter went to the same elementary school and we ALWAYS spent a ton on school supplies.

Of course she is in high school this year, so I know I won't get off that easy with her. I already had to buy her two books for her summer ready assignment for honors English. If that's any indication, it's going to be an expensive year for her.
