You're not a party pooper I totally get what you're saying and I still do that actually. If I "hide" something I also put it on their plate, like steamed carrots. My younger son eats a lot better than my older son who has SPD [see above post]. So I really don't have to "hide" for him.

I'm also like you too, I'm not one to get upset when they refuse something. I'll even admit that when I know I make dinners they don't like I fix them something else. Not like a 3 course meal, but oatmeal and fruit or a PB&J and fruit. Nitrate free hotdog, something like that
