So, I keep looking for even better fruit roll up recipes. I think that those are going to be big hits for our kids (obviously, what kid doesn't LOVE fruit roll ups? lol). I found this other link for fruit rolls up. Its similar to the first one, but there is storage info AND a video on it which is really helpful!

The graham cracker recipe is really good. Its man approved. I was kind of confused the first time I made it because you have to cube the butter and when you mix it, its not going to be like a batter, at least not how I think it would have looked. I found that the little pieces of butter really add to it, its like little pockets of butter.
The only thing I can say to make it even better is that Robert wanted more cinnamon, so next time, I am going to sprinkle extra cinnamon/sugar on top to be like those cinnamon graham crackers you can buy. They taste JUST like graham crackers though.

Anyone love gnocchis like I do? lol But seriously at $3 a bag in the freezer section which is barely enough for just Robert, its so not worth it. Here is a recipe for homemade gnocchis with directions on how to freeze them for later. I think I am going to make a LARGE batch to have one hand.

Here's one we make a least once a week in our home. We have a bread machine too, but this is just sooo EASY!

Beer Bread

Prep takes just a couple of minutes and you probably have all the ingredients already. 55minutes later you have some tasty bread! Some people even use sodas instead of the beer. You'll have to read through the reviews because I'm not sure how that works as we usually just use a beer.

What kind of beer do you use? Will miller lite work with it?

This looks good. It reminds me an irish soda bread recipe that I used to make a lot. I will have to post that one too as it was very yummy with tea.

Do you think the wheat germ in the granola bars is really necessary? I don't even know what it is, I've seen it but never bought it. Do you think it would change much if I left it out?

I think that this is interesting - homemade almond milk - weelicious is pretty trustworthy; her recipes are usually great so it might be worth a shot if you drink it? I've never had it before.

Yes Miller Lite will work. I make it with soup because it is a heavy bread. It is really good for such a basic recipe.

made the spreadable butter recipe posted in the first post this afternoon-turned out great! Pricey with organic butter + can of evaporated milk, but then I saw the recipe to make my own butter.......may have the try that next time
