they shouldn't affect the baby, but remember if something were to happen, you must live for them to live so at this point, your most basic needs come first...I also have severe reactions to a few antibiotics and yes, it's scary, the worst of it is over for you and it should be smooth sailing from here.

Have you tried just benadryl for the morning sickness? It's always helped me wonderfully

Thank you for that...I had a hard time justyfying taking steroids but really hardly had a choice...I hope the hives dont come back!
And tes the benadryl is working for ms!
I really need a break from all the problems!
First at 4 weeks I had hirrible tooth ache that went away after a week, then horrible ms started then spotting then hives... i want some

not sure anyone else mentioned this, in a rush- first exposure does not result in an allergic reaction. It's always the 2nd or subsequent exposure. Don't take it again because your reaction can get worse.

Yes Mama! I broke out after I took my second ever pill of Zofran.

Steriods are also used in some mamas with severe Hyperemesis. I say in your case the benefits outweigh the risks and you should be fine with a 5 day taper. I had to use steriods during a pregnancy for severe asthma for ab extended time and everything was fine.
