sleeping through the night?
OK my daughter was born September 09... and we still wake up 1-2 times per night. Does your child sleep through the night yet?

Re: sleeping through the night?
DS was born Aug 09. Most nights we're up 1-2 times unless he sleeps with me. Then we toss and turn all night
...but not the up and crying. DS does STTN maybe once a week, but that's about it!

Re: sleeping through the night?
My DS was born Dec 09 and he did STTN last night. But we can count on one hand how many times that has happened. Usually up twice, a good night, once...
DD is five days old and already sleeps longer than he does at night...

Re: sleeping through the night?
DS was born July 2009 and STTN most of the time. He was 17 months old when he started. Prior to that, he was up anywhere from 1-4 times a night.
I have noticed that he wakes up around 1am most nights and happily talks to himself for a good 10-15 minutes, but he always goes back to sleep on his own. |

Re: sleeping through the night?
Thanks. GLad to know I'm not the only one... most of the other kiddos her age that we know do sttn.
I guess our biggest problem is that I have to go lay down with her for a little while so she will go back to sleep... but that's my own fault. lol |

Re: sleeping through the night?
Yep. I let him crawl up on the couch with me (preggo and can't sleep in the bed), so it's partly my fault too!

Re: sleeping through the night?
Maddy has been STTN for as long as I can remember. She goes down at 7:30pm and very rarely wakes up before 9am.

Re: sleeping through the night?
Yup, since the day she came home
both her and my ds were the same way. As long as they were snuggled with me or in dd (11.09) case, her fleece blanket, they were good to go a 5-6 hr stretch.

Re: sleeping through the night?
My daughter doesn't like wake up fully but she has a bad case of night mares so she'll scream and cry throughout the night. She sleeps with us because it seems to be less than when she is in her own bed. if she goes to sleep in her own bed shell come back within a few hours. I rather her be in our bed with the nightmares its terrible.
