Re: smiles
Awww, dd used to do that
My new nursling isn't smiling yet but I love the weird little animal sounds he makes while nursing. I also love how he falls off my boob like a ripe piece of fruit with milk running down his chin.

Re: smiles
I love the sweet, slow blinks as my LO falls asleep while eating.
Those cute newborn nursing sounds. The tight, clench fist while fighting a strong letdown. I love the midnight attacks of a rooting baby at the breast, who will latch on before I am awake enough to even know what is going on. I love the sweet smell of milk on my little girls cheeks. There is so much I love about nursing. This baby may be my last, so I'm cherishing every second of every feed, be it 3am, pulled over in the car for a quick feed, or while I'm trying to clean the house...or on DS...

Re: smiles
I love it when my baby knows he is about to eat... as soon as he hears the snap of my tank I get a big grin. I also Love it when he grabs on to my shirt while nursing, or when he puts both of his hand next to him mouth like he is eating a big ole sandwich.

Re: smiles
I love how DD can be hyper as all get out at nighttime, but once she starts nursing, it's like an off-switch.
In the mornings, when she's all cuddly, she'll come off, say "mama", then start again.

I LOVE those smiles, so cute. LO has started putting her hand down my shirt to hold the boob that she isn't nursing on. Like it is going to up and leave before she gets to it.

Re: smiles
We've been practicing baby sign. I would say "milk" and clench and unclench my fist when I would feel the letdown. Yesterday DS was hungry and said "mamamamama" for milk. Then I fed him and he sleepily said " mamamama" again. So cute!
