Re: What's your favorite belly butter - and did it work?
That's a good story.
Good for you, mama. I am in such pain right now but I am hoping it gets better later in the preg. DS is two this month though, and he's still very much a milk boy, so I'm not expecting him to wean (nor do I want him to). OMG I just noticed your daughter's nickname! Our girl name is Coco! ![]() Oh, and I'm from Naperville, IL. I'll have to check out that book. I heart mothering mag, too. It just resonates with my mama soul.

It's hereditary whether or not you'll get stretch marks, the creams and oils do nothing more than moisturize.

Re: What's your favorite belly butter - and did it work?
I used palmers coco butter with my 2nd child.....but he was over 10 lbs plus I had polydramnious, and was measuring 48+ weeks when i delivered him...so there was no getting around the ones I have (on my belly).
I haven't gotten any since then though and only had a few tiny ones with DD#1. (on my sides)

Re: What's your favorite belly butter - and did it work?
Until I can get my concoction whipped up, I'm using Clear Honey Hills' belly balm. Feels good!
Oddly enough, I do have stretch marks on my backside from the rapid growth during puberty! Can't imagine that it grew any faster than my belly during pregnancy, so, I do have to wonder whether the balms actually do help.
