The base is vanilla. The next layer is black. The top layer is a designer paper designed to look like it came from an old book.

The bird's eye is a rhinestone. The bird is affixed with a Stampin Dimensional so that it pops up a little bit, rather than laying flat.

The border on the left was made using the Ribbon Lace Border punch.

The ribbon is 1 1/4" striped grosgrain ribbon, in black.

And to give it just an extra little splash of color, I used red ink to stamp the "Thinking of You" at the top. It really stands out from the black print surrounding it.

I had A LOT of fun designing this one. I hope you love it!

When someone says "Make it a surprise" it makes me a little nervous because so many people have different tastes. So I'm SOOOO super excited that you love it!

I am going to try to use Picasa to edit the pic THEN upload to Photobucket so that it won't be sideways.
